The abbreviated tale of Matthew Brewster
Matthew Brewster was an impressive athlete, a smart kid, and incredibly social (midwesterner). When he was 17, on December 5th, 2012, he was waiting for the shower to warm up when he experienced a massive pain in his head. Upon calling for his mother, he seized. He then spent 3 months in the ICU, 2 months in inpatient rehab, and 8 years in inconsistent therapy.
He wants to use these awful experiences to help others, in whatever form that might be. He has spoken at schools, libraries, Rotary Clubs, and he would be very interested in speaking wherever you might recommend! Check him out at the Book Matthew Brewster tab.
He also authored a book, which he would recommend to anyone! It can be found on the Books page.
